Karmapa’s resplendent parasol is raised to be seen
from all corners of the world
In recognition of the inseparability of the two views
through the accomplishment of the essence of Dorje Chang.

The infallible intention of the precious Lord of Love,
is unceasing in the three times.
It fills all space without center or edge.

Clouds of divine goodness rain down
the nectar of the Lotus Born,
sprinkling the sense of Suchness
upon those of this Dark Age.

Gathering like bees to honey,
attracted to the sweet nature of the Conqueror
And to the triumph of the holder of the throne
who enacts the activity of the noble ones without flaw,
We offer the universe as a refined mandala
and our devoted, unbroken samaya
To the Lord whose display of the be-jeweled Black Crown
liberates on sight.

With Chadrupa as our protector,
and the Guru as our guide,
We make this aspiration to you
without selfishness or pride.

Even Great Meru one day will topple over,
but in this world you shall stand,
Lotus feet forever immovable
at your Vajra-Seat
for the sake of all beings.

The sun of Buddha Dharma that benefits others
Always blazes.
