The Karma Kamtsang,
enriched and overflowing
with all the necessary practices and paths,
is endowed with the chariot
that brings swift accomplishment.

THE MASTER OF BUDDHA ACTIVITY
The Dharma Emperor Karmapa
to whom the gods send down worlds
replete with laurels of coral,
the boldest brilliance of gold,
rivers of silver and stones of agate
Abides in the mandala mansion of Chakrasamvara.

A pure breed stallion
with a coat as fine as silk
does not exceed the beauty and grace
of the saintly Tai Situpa:

The Lord of Secrets Gyaltsabpa
the holy Regent who guards
the three doors from defilement,
is the sage who protects
the everlasting key, the mantrayana.

Nenang Pawo
whose might is more than any star,
emits Limitless Light
which crumbles and grinds
inner and outer afflictions to dust.

Jamgon Kongtrul
the valiant liberator
Your exquisite voice
is tender to the student’s ears
yet wrathful to those who oppose.
He has a store of knowledge
that is completely full.

THE LORD OF REFUGE
A white right-turned conch,
heaped with offerings
pervading millions of Buddha fields,
cannot compare to the compassionate command
of the precious master Kalu.

THE SUPREME ABBOT
Thrangu Tulku
Explicator of the excellent doctrine
demonstrates an abstruse meaning harmoniously
as if it came from the very lips of Sarasvati.

In the same manner,
Let the merit that arises from this prayer
expand to include all beings everywhere.
